    Little Cars, take 2

    Dec 14, 2009

IMG_1667 I used up my last piece of this little cars fabric  (left over from this quilt) to make this quilt last week.  Its another quilt using the disappearing 9 patch block with the pieced border.  The back is a Momo print I love.  This one is in the shop.  IMG_1717

That is a great quilt. I have been looking for a design that would suit a first ever quilt and I think I just found it!

I generally find disappearing nine patch quilts to be confusing, but you have really made it work with this little quilt!

I'm planning on making my little boy a quilt, probably for a Christmas present for next year...I've been looking at patterns and pictures trying to figure out what would make a good "boy" quilt, and I love this!! I think I'll modify it to have a wider border, the patched border like you did, then an even wider boarder and a patterned binding! LOVE it! THANKS for the inspiration!
