\nI\u2019ve done a few baby quilts with these flowers and it\u2019s so fun to do\u2026so I snapped a couple of close ups to show.  Once I practiced a bit, quilting these flowers was even faster than stippling. <\/div>\n

\nUh-huh\u2026bad.   Aaaaaand, as you can see\u2026I left it.  It adds \"character\". <\/div>\n
\nBut after a few bad ones they started to look like this:<\/div>\n

\nIt resembles a flower this time!<\/div>\n
\nHere are some step by steps\u2026it\u2019s a little tricky to follow the thread but hopefully you\u2019ll get the idea. <\/div>\n

\nBasically you are making 2 figure 8 designs, then the last loop or petal, and you move onto the next flower.  I drew it with pencil a few times before I tried it on a quilt\u2026it obviously didn\u2019t help as shown by the bad flower picture up there\u2026but with a little practice they now look semi-good.   Try it!<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
