I can finally share my new Christmas quilts here without it feeling weirdly too early! I quietly released a few new patterns this summer after doing some Christmas sewing in June.
This is the Evergreen quilt, and it was made with a layer cake of Good News Great Joy, by Fancy That Design House.
It's made with a layer cake of at least 40 squares, or fat quarters. This would also be a great way to use up red and green scraps saved throughout the year!
Kait quilted this in a swirly design, and I used this red pinecone print for the binding.
This quilt lives on the back of our couch now that the Christmas decorations are out, the darker reds and greens match my decor perfectly! This year we bought our first faux tree...and I swear this 12' tree wasn't as enormous in the store. It's pretty but I got a serious workout going up and down a ladder trying to decorate the top!
Evergreen can be found here as a PDF, or here as a Paper pattern.
Have a great week! -Allison

I love the Evergreen quilt. I purchased the pattern and the Good News Great Joy layer cake. Could you tell me what you used for the backing? Thank you
Allison
I just used the blue Plaid fabric from my Forget Me Not line with Windham Fabrics. I usually just use whatever I might have on hand that matches decently enough!
