I was folding this quilt back up last week after it came home from a trunk show, and I realized I've never shared it here on my blog. I made the Jelly Twist quilt and pattern last winter when this fabric line came out.
It's made with a jelly roll of Tula Pink's line Tiny Beasts...which I love especially since we live in the forest and have all these real life tiny beasts.
I love working with Tula's fabrics because it's not colors I'd usually choose on my own, but all together they are cohesive and happy.
Kait quilted this for me in feathers and I love the way it fills the white negative space.
This is a quick sew pattern you can make with 2 ½" strips, fat quarters or yardage. I've seen so many variations of this simple chain quilt over the years, and it looks good in any fabric combo.
Jelly Twist can be found here as a PDF or here as a Paper pattern.
Through this weekend until June 3rd, all of my Jelly Roll friendly patterns will be 25% off...find them here! The discount is automatically added in checkout.
Have a great weekend and happy quilting! -Allison

Ha! I just photographed my sewn Jelly Twist top to put on my blog today. It will go up in the next couple of days. I used an earthy hand dyed jelly roll and white. https://artinsearch.blogspot.com
