Pixel Chain Christmas Quilt...squeezing in one more finish!

    Dec 24, 2020

    Pixel Chain Christmas Quilt Pattern

We've been using last years Christmas quilt without a binding since Thanksgiving...who needs a binding anyway?

It's a super heavy quilt with a thick minky + batting, and it's a twin size so it's been laying over my side of the bed all month (I'm always freezing!).

Kaitlyn did a darling quilting design on this with trees.  It adds so much character to this simple quilt.

Pixel Chain Quilt Pattern, Jelly Roll quilt

That is one of my favorite quilty-pictures from last year!!  The pattern is Pixel Chain, the fabric was a mix from my stash.

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

Merry Christmas to you and your family ! What a nice picture ! Love the quilt too. Could the blocks be made with strips cut from fat quarters or do you need the wof of the jelly roll strips ?

Yes it could be made with FQs! I actually used fat quarters and scraps for this version, you'll get about 6 strips out of each fat quarter (if you want matching blocks)....7 strips if you are going for a scrappy look.
